Greek Orthodox Youth of America Alice Abell, Liz Alexander, Michelle Gikas, Melissa Pardales, Chris Schick, Advisors The mission and goal of GOYA ministry is to lead our young people into experiencing the Holy Orthodox Faith. The GOYA ministry is based on the following four characteristics: Worship (Liturgia), Fellowship (Koinonia), Service (Diakonia), and Witness (Martyria). At St. George, we welcome youth in grades 6 through 12 to participate in our GOYA and experience their faith with peers. Please see the G.O.Y.A. Calendar for a list of upcoming meetings and events. Return to Top Outreach Committee - People- to-People: works in collaboration with the Parish Council and the Ladies Philoptochos Society COLLEGE CONNECTION - This program was started a year ago by our Outreach Committee. Its purpose is to reach out and keep in touch with our college students while they are in school, either at home or away. Care packages containing small religious items, a $5 gift card, treats and a letter from Fr. Nick are sent twice a year. Anyone wishing to donate to this program, please see Liz Alexander. If you are interested in being a Sunday Greeter or would like to join us in Outreach contact anyone on the Outreach Committee or call Stella Pappas (248) 642-4274.
